Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of the more common questions our customers ask. If you need more information or have a question that is not answered here, feel free to call us or e-mail us for more information.
Can I rent a storage container or trailer to load at my site, then have you move it for me?
Moving services are not available. Once a ground-level container is loaded, it cannot be moved. Not only are the containers too heavy when loaded, but your stored contents would slide to the rear of the container once we lifted it. Storage trailers can be moved on-site when loaded; however, they are not registered for road transit. Our affiliated business, M&S Trailers, Inc., rents 28' to 53' road trailers. Click here to learn more about M&S, or call 603-647-4530.
Can I rent a unit to be stored on your property?
Our on-site storage space is limited. We cannot store a container on our lot for you.
Are your storage units watertight?
Our ground-level containers are built to strict wind-and-water-tight standards. However, we recommend covering your valuable items with plastic for added protection.
How fast can I get a container?
We can usually fulfill an order within a day or two of your phone call. We have an inventory of over 1300 total units, so equipment is always available for your immediate needs.
Where can I put my storage container?
First and foremost, your site needs to be accessible by our trucks. Since our ground-level containers are unloaded from a car carrier or flatbed trailer, we need a certain amount of straight footage to back the truck or trailer up and pull forward. These requirements are listed on the Containers For Rent page. The terrain where you want the container should be firm and level. We cannot unload a container on an incline.
Can my storage unit be taxed as a building?
It depends on your town or city's policies. For a definite answer, please contact your local town or city office.
Can I rent stairs or a ramp for my storage trailer?
We cannot supply you with stairs or ramps.
Can I buy a container I am renting?
Yes. Give us a call, and we will determine a price based upon the age of your container. Keep in mind that your past rent cannot be applied toward a purchase price.
